Celebrate Good Times

To celebrate our first anniversary, I took Corey to a local corn maze.  Our first date on October 10, 2011 was a I corn maze, so I thought I was being super cute.  Corey on the other hand said "You're so predictable.  We don't have to do the same thing every time."  I reminded him since it was our first anniversary, there was no other time and that he was being a buttface and hurting my feelings.

It was a little chilly and cloudy, but definitely a lot of fun.  This maze was smaller than I expected but still hard.  There were no dead ends.  They made every path loop back on itself.  We ended up going around in circles way too many times.  On the plus side, you get a free ice cream cone when you complete the maze.  Yum!

There was also a small petting zoo type area.  They had some goats, horses and alpacas.  I think that they probably have more during the warmer weather since there were a few empty cages.

All in all, even with Corey hurting my feelings a bit, we had a great day.

Oh Happy Day

Yesterday was a pretty awesome day.  It was Corey and I's one year anniversary.  It hasn't always been easy, but it has definitely been worth it.  There is no one else I'd rather be with.

He makes me laugh when nothing else can.  Even when he annoys me, I can't stay mad at him long.  He makes me feel safe and like he will always be there no matter what I need.  He makes me want to be a better person.  I want to be nicer, less grumpy, less demanding.  He brings out the good in me.  And I love him.

Also good news - We finally got accepted into an apartment!  YEA!!!!  It's a two bedroom that we are renting with a friend on mine.  When Corey works away during the week, I'll still have someone to hang out with.  We get to move in at the beginning of November.  I can't wait!

Feeling the Love

I can't believe that Corey and I have been together for 8 months.  They have been the best months of my life.  He makes me more unbelievably happy that I can possibly put into words.  I love you so much baby!

So Proud

I am super proud of my wonderful Corey.  Yesterday was his graduation from college.

Isn't he just the cutest graduate ever?  Okay, I might be a little biased.  But that doesn't change that fact that I am proud of him.  It hasn't been easy.  There have been a lot of long days and late nights.  He's been ready to get out into a job for while now, so it's a welcome, welcome thing.
